| DY Evangelism TGIF - Teaching God | Increasing Faith During the summer our students get together on Fridays for a cookout, games, contests, and just hanging out at ADP SportsPark. We have a devotion from the Bible centered around reaching out to others and everyone from 6th thru 12th grades is welcome to join us. DY Coed Softball During the summer months before going off to camp come join us on Wednesdays for the all time greatest fun playing some of the craziest softball with our high schoolers. Special rules and special teens make this a special time to bring a special friend. Sign up in May. DY Coed Volleyball During the winter months while it's too cold to get outside we get together on Saturdays at a local middle school gym and play the most fundamentally sound volleyball you have ever seen ... ya right! A great chance to reach out to a friend. Sign up in January - play in February. Summer Camp During the middle and end of July our Directional Youth HS & Jr. High have the spiritual and physical time of the year when we invade Camp Windermere in the Lake of the Ozarks for our own camps. Brownie & Darrin, along with all the Servant Team, lead the kids on a God-centered time of pursuing and deepening their relationship with Him through the preaching of the Word from a special invited Pastor. There is air-conditioned cabins, fantastic food, great water activities, and an atmosphere of God's true love for teens to be changed forever! Winter Mission During the long weekend break in February our High School journeys to Santa Fe, NM. to visit a great friend & his church. We spend the weekend skiing and hanging out with a great bunch of people who love the Lord and minister to us. We like to think of the trip as an opportunity to minister unto the Romeros and their church people and expose our DY to another culture and special local church like ours. |  |
